Pink See-Through Fantasia

Blue Planet II has had families around the country gasping with awe (or occasionally hiding behind the sofa) as it uncovered a new world of exotic sealife. But with more than 230,000 different species living in the world’s oceans, there are a few David Attenborough that didn’t have time to cover. Here are 10 unusual creatures from the briny depths that we’d love to see in Season three.

Pink SeeThrough Fantasia.

This magnificent sea-cucumber, discovered in 2007, has eerily translucent skin, meaning its internal organs are completely visible from the outside. Perfect for anyone who’s ever wished they could watch the full, gory process of digestion in action. It lives around 2,500 metres deep in the Celebes Sea, between the Philippines and Indonesia.
